In the winter, a hot tub water exchange can take several hours to reach the desired temperature, so please turn up the hot tub heat upon arrival if you plan to use it.
The indoor fireplace is unavailable for use from April 1 to October 1.
After each guest, we thoroughly clean the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.
The outdoor grill is connected to a timer for fire safety. If you’re having issues with the propane, please check the timer to ensure that the gas can properly flow.
The property is regularly sprayed for bugs, but please note that you’re visiting the forest and our bug friends live in and around the lake and forest. You’ll likely see a friend or two if you leave the doors or windows open.
Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.
A car is recommended for getting around, ensuring easy access to local wineries, outdoor adventures, and dining options while enjoying the scenic drives through the North Georgia mountains. Free parking for up to three vehicles is available at the cabin.
