Nestled atop Allen Lake and situated in Cherry Log (population 120!) between the charming towns of Blue Ridge and Ellijay in the North Georgia mountains, it’s almost impossible not to relax into the tranquil atmosphere of our Lakeside ‘Treehouse’.

Open the door to this quaint cabin and you realize every inch has been carefully and professionally decorated - from the stunningly gorgeous vaulted ceiling and richly polished tree-trunk coffee table, to the brand new designer kitchen and the luxe bedroom suites, each space is more beautiful than the next! The open floorplan starts with a decadently cozy living area and romantic fireplace hearth – complimentary firewood and flat screen smart TV provided! But, you can also enjoy the fire from the formal dining area, which seats 6, or from the kitchen island counter, which seats 3 and is the perfect perch at the heart of this home!

In the kitchen, the immaculate stainless steel appliances and the woodland view make every meal prep a pleasure. You will want to grab your first mug of morning coffee and head out onto the deck though – to watch the mist rise off Lake Allen to reveal the memorable tree-filled vista!

The first-floor king is just off the main living area and decorated with hints of spring in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Two additional suites are upstairs, with crisp fall and warm winter palettes. The first spacious bedroom has a king bed with its own full bathroom, and the 2nd main bedroom suite boasts a cozy king bed and flatscreen TV. Attached to that is the main bathroom with his and hers sinks and a frame-less walk-in shower.
OUTDOORS:
The truth? You’ll be spending as much time as you can on the huge wrap-around deck, enjoying every moment of the lake! Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon game of chess - in any kind of weather, or escape to the soothing hot tub and revel in the view.

Later on you can head out to the picturesque firepit and stargaze while your dinner sizzles on the 5-burner grill (propane included). Perfection!
**Caution, steep terrain and paths to the lake, outside main deck is 60' above, not suitable for small children.
AROUND TOWN:
Although you won’t want to leave your “little slice of heaven”, there's no shortage of activities in this wonderful area. Ellijay and Blue Ridge are both incredible small towns with antique shops, taverns, breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, and more. There’s truly something for everyone in these beautiful mountain communities. Tour the award-winning vineyards (Engelheim, Ellijay River, Cartecay, Serenberry) or all the surrounding breweries and orchards like Mercier Apple Orchard. Visit Fall Branch Falls or bask on the water with plenty of tubing, fishing or boating. Maybe cross that water over the famous Toccoa Swinging Bridge! Conquer the mountains on breathtaking hiking and mountain biking trails. And seasonally, enjoy the Blue Ridge Railway, local festivals and other activities. Feel free to drop us a message when you’ve got your dates booked and we can let you know what’s happening during your stay. And just a note, you can’t take a trip to Cherry Log without dropping by The Pink Pig - our favorite spot for BBQ – or the Bigfoot Experience – both just down the road!

The walk down to the lake is steep, but worth it! Waiting for you is a restful bench, or an adorable rowboat. And the fishing is great!

Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.
A security deposit of $300 is required to hold your vacation rental reservation. This deposit will be automatically added to your reservation and charged at the time of booking. The deposit will be returned to you within 3 to 7 business days provided that the following provisions are met:
· No damage is done to the property or its furnishings
· There are no items missing from the property.
· All keys are returned.
· There are no violations of this agreement.
After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon your arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should bever be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.
